INA von WISTINGHAUSEN

  • Portrait of an Artist
For those of us who believe that it is never too late to learn, I did not begin painting until my children were grown. I started with oils, then moved to watercolours.

Right now flowers are my passion. Tomorrow it may be mountains - the Rockies have some beautiful scenery, or it may be any other subject that takes my fancy. I love a challenge, especially when it's a subject never done previously.

Now I have the luxury of being able to lose track of time and to paint whenever I want. Traveling a lot by motorhome creates all kinds of opportunities - if not for painting then taking some great photographs for future use.

The arts are in my soul - Anything goes!
